For engineers who like a codebase nobody else will open.

Working here

We are senior US-based mobile engineers who work on Xamarin apps: reading them, getting them back through store review, migrating them to .NET MAUI, and keeping them shipping afterwards.

The work is unfashionable and genuinely difficult in a way that is easy to undersell. A 2018 Xamarin.Forms app with forty custom renderers, two native bindings against SDKs that no longer ship a supported version, a signing setup nobody can reproduce, and a field team that depends on it every morning is a real engineering problem. Getting it onto a supported stack without losing a screen is a real engineering achievement.

If that reads like a description of your last three years rather than a warning, we would like to hear from you.

Senior Only

Every engineer on an engagement is senior and works directly with the client. There is no delivery layer between you and the people whose app you are changing.

Depth Over Breadth

We sell one thing. You will get deep into renderers and handlers, native bindings, provisioning and store review, rather than a different stack every quarter.

Honest Recommendations

You will not be asked to sell a migration an app does not need, or to leave a retire list out of a report because it shortens the engagement. Saying so is the job.

Remote, US-Based

Work runs remotely against client repositories and pipelines, with travel for kickoffs, cutovers and regulated environments. Engagements are hourly, and the hours are the hours.

Writing Is Part of the Work

Every engagement ends in documentation the client can use without us, and we publish what we learn as tutorials. If you would rather never write anything down, this is the wrong firm.

We do not keep a numbered list of open roles. We do keep talking to senior mobile engineers with real Xamarin depth — custom renderers and effects, native binding libraries, iOS provisioning and Android signing, and migrations to .NET MAUI.

Send a note about the most tangled mobile codebase you have worked on, what state it was in when you arrived, and what you changed. That tells us more than a CV does.
